Palo del Amo Woods has several local bus stops located on Sepulveda Blvd, Vermont Ave, Normandie Ave, and Lomita Blvd. Metro Local 205 bus has 3 stops on Vermont Ave (at 245th St, Ashbridge Ln, and Sepulveda Blvd) and Metro Express 550 bus has1 stop on Vermont Ave at Sepulveda Blvd. Torramce Transit Line 7 bus has 3 stops on Sepulveda Blvd. Torrance Transit Line 9 bus has 3 stops on Lomita Blvd. GTrans Line 2 bus has 4 stops on Normandie Ave (at 245th St, Pasatiempo Ln, Oakheath Dr, and Sepulveda Blvd).

Arrival times for these busses and stops can be viewed on the Metro site (click on "Arrivals + Alerts" and enter you current location), or more conveniently viewed with Smartphone Apps such as Transit. Transit and similar Apps display estimated arrival time based upon current actual bus location for Metro and similar busses equipped with GPS tracking, and scheduled arrival time for all other busses. Local Bus lines connect to other bus lines as well as the Harbor Gateway Transit Center which provides Metro Silver Line Service to Downtown LA.

Taxi Services (listed above) are also available, as well as Lyft and Uber rides (use the Lyft and Uber Smartphone Apps to schedule rides).

U.S. Federally Approved Forms of Identification

After October 1, 2020 you will need to use a federally approved document to board a domestic flight or enter secure facilities. These documents include passports, passport cards, Global Entry Cards, military IDs, and Real ID Cards (not the current non-compliant California Driver License/ID Card), as well as a few other forms of identification accepted by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Carefully review the documentation requirements on the following links (California residency documentation requirements are changing as of April 2019, and will require two separate forms of California residency documentation to obtain a California Real ID Card). Make certain that you have all required documentation before you schedule an appointment.
